ENCIRCLE DANCE
Please join us for a night full of music, dancing, fantastic food, and a costume party. The best part of all is that you will be enjoying all of these things with your Encircle Life friends! The party is from 6:00 until 8:30 PM on Friday, October 6th. Guests are encouraged to wear costumes (non-scary please).
Admission: Canned good for the local food bank.
OASIS MONTHLY LUNCHEON
Have a craving for authentic German food? Then we have a place for you! Join your friends at Oasis on October 13th at 11:00 AM for great food like Fleischküchla (meatballs), Käsenudeln (mac & cheese), or Eine im Weggla (brat & sauerkraut). THE GATHERING-PRESENTED BY THE WOMEN OF 5th THURSDAY
On Friday, October 13th, CLC will be hosting an amazing women’s event called The Gathering. The Gathering is a one night event where local women from our church and community gather together, break bread, worship and have the blessing of listening to an incredible guest speaker.
This year’s speaker is Casey Jordan. Casey serves as a Bible teacher and curriculum developer at Mecklenburg Community Church in Charlotte, NC. She has studied extensively in Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Turkey, Greece, and Italy, exploring the cultural context of the Bible and has led biblical study tours in Jordan and Israel. She is the author of Incognito: Discovering God in Everyday Moments and two upcoming books on the cultural context of the Easter and Christmas stories.

SERVING AT THE GATHERING
In the past, at every 5th Thursday event (now known as The Gathering), we have had a group of gentlemen who serve our amazing women. We are looking for 15 gentlemen who have table waiting experience or experience working in the kitchen. Please consider dressing up, serving dinner, and blessing the women of our church and community on October 13th! Register here to serve. We will send more details for arrival time and tasked positions for the evening as the event draws closer. This night would not be possible without the hearts for service that you all have!
