Belize High School Mission Trip

f you would like to join the Belize Mission Team with Emerge Youth Ministry this summer as we travel to serve the community of Caye Caulker, then please follow the link below to apply. Our team will be working alongside a local church, and we’ll be hosting a Vacation Bible School (VBS), doing some light construction work, helping with projects around the local church, volunteering in kids’ ministry, and much more! This mission opportunity is open to current high school students who are actively involved in Emerge. Quick Facts: Who:  All Active Emerge High School Students (Current 9th-12th Graders) Where:  Caye Caulker, Belize Dates:  July 14th – 21st, 2024 Cost:  $1,800 (Fundraisers Available) Deadline to register is Sunday, January 7th, 2024 For more information email Matt Hull, our Youth Director, at Matt@clc.life

ANGEL OF HOPE SERVICE
This is an annual candlelight memorial service that will be held on Wednesday, December 6th at 7 PM to remember beloved children of any age who have gone too soon.  This service will be held in the prayer labyrinth and will include a few encouraging remarks, worship, and an opportunity to leave a flower in the hands of the angel statue as we honor our children.  Childcare will be available.

ADVENT ANGEL WORKDAY 
We have our Advent Angel workday coming up on Sunday, December 10th (Gifts are due back this Sunday). If you would like to help us by either helping collect gifts as they come in before each service (8:30, 10:00 or 11:30 AM) and put inside Family Room or if you would like to help sort all gifts beginning at 12:45 PM, we could use your help.  We will have lunch for those who would like to help sort presents.  Please click here to sign up.

CHRISTMAS EVE CONNECTIONS BOX
If you are unable to join us this Christmas Eve but want to stay connected, register to receive our Christmas Eve Connections package. This package will allow you to stream our Christmas Eve service online, light candles, and follow along as if you are in the room with us. If you know someone homebound, traveling, or anyone who can’t join us on Christmas Eve, please invite them to register for a box here.
Register by this Monday, December 4th if you are out of town and will need a box mailed.
Register by December 10th if you are local.
Pick up for locals will be December 10th – December 20th.

NIGHT TO SHINE 2024
Save the date to join us for an unforgettable prom night experience Friday, Feb 9th, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs! From serving as a guest’s buddy or member of the red carpet paparazzi to keeping the enthusiasm up on the dance floor or serving food, there is something for everyone. Registration opens for guests today, December 1st click here to register or for volunteers on January 1, 2024.

TECH TEAM
Do you need help with your Church App (so you can view upcoming events or even register for them) or maybe how to stream services from home and be shown on your TV?  We have a tech team who can help you with any tech questions.  For free assistance, you can reach Casey Lee or our other tech volunteers to help at techhelp@clc.life.

INTERFAITH MINISTRIES PANTRY NEEDS
Pantry needs for December are canned soup, boxed potatoes, canned fruit, condiments (mayo & mustard), jelly, pancake mix, syrup, dried milk, paper towels and hams for Christmas boxes.  All donations may be brought to the Thrift Store at 4339 Gulf Breeze Pkwy anytime during business hours. Monetary donations may be mailed to 4435 Gulf Breeze Pkwy, Gulf Breeze, FL 32563. Please write “Food Pantry” in the memo line. The thrift store is in desperate need of volunteers and any amount of hours would be helpful.   Call Lynn for more information at 850-934-1688.

NEW YEARS EVE 
On Sunday, December 31st we will only have one Communion Service at 10:00 AM.  This will be a family service.  All children and youth are invited to worship with their families.

Women’s Ministry

A community of women connecting in groups, gathering for events, serving together, and growing as sisters in Christ. Our large bi-annual events hosted by our 5th Thursday Women are designed to fuel the souls of women in our community, share in worship, draw closer together in prayer, and strengthen our hearts as believers. Our MOPS Program (Mothers of Preschoolers) is a national grassroots movement that believes moms are world influencers! This ministry meets twice a month on campus and is geared specifically to meet the spiritual needs of mothers.

Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery is an adult, Christ-centered 12 Step recovery program based on the 12 steps and their biblical equivalence, along with 8 recovery principles founded in the Beatitudes. Celebrate Recovery addresses all of life’s hurts, hang-ups, and habits. We meet weekly on campus at 6pm.

Special Abilities Ministry

Our designed inclusive ministry includes programs and accommodations to enhance the church experience for adults with special abilities. We gather weekly on Sunday Mornings at 10 a.m. on campus. We study the Bible and enjoy fun interactive activities tied to the daily lesson. Additionally, we gather for large events like dances and movie nights quarterly.
